before i even listened to this album i knew it would he different from the others, as i actually wanted to listen to it and had hopes for it. when i started this album i was thinking "man i hope i like this more than the first two songs entail" so that i actually can find a good album from this band. unfortunately i liked it more than i thought i would. this is a sad day. end review.

proof bus ride albums are undefeated
listened to this album on the way to work as i'd been meaning to check this out and glad i finally did, as good as i thought it'd be
the grindin remixes were not necessary
when an artist hasnt missed in 12 years what more do you want from them to prove they're one of the greatest
thank you freddie gibbs
(technically a bus ride to work listen as well)
my 800th rating/review, also an album in the series of albums that i listen to going to or from work. this was started in the morning and finished in the afternoon.
so this album was a lot better than i thought it'd be, and deltron (or del) is a much better lyricist than i thought he'd be. his technical rapping along with conscious ability is captivating to keep across the entire album, not just from the acclaimed title track "3030" (which i've heard several times ... read more
rating the top 100 albums on aoty: paranoid by black sabbath (37/100) (this album is on the list of albums i listened to on the way to work as well)

well since work started and the bus rides are kinda long, im gonna start a new series where i listen to an album everyday on the way to or from work in the morning and afternoon respectively. the first album of this series is: 3 feet high and rising by de la soul. (listened in the morning)
as a whole, this album is a great listen but the actual songs in terms of the rapping and not the skits are amazing. a couple of classics here i've heard my whole life such as "the magic ... read more
rating the top 100 albums on aoty: either/or by elliott smith (36/100)
very good song writing with matching production, it feels as though each song was produced perfectly for what the lyrics were encompassing. though there is a quality dip after the first few songs its still overall a good project and definitely deserves it's spot in the top 100. not much else can be or needs to be said about it as a whole tbh

peggy and earl fighting over who will have the better yellow score album in 2026
the classic story of the one you teach becoming better than you at what you taught them. they become so good that you do everything in your power to stop their reign of prosperity, even if you're friends or end up killing them. and that's what this album was: a great story album, and at points felt like a movie or film rather than just listening to music, it felt like a well thought out and concise story that kept me engaged the whole time. i like how the songs complement the skits ... read more
