For some reason a long time ago, I used to think Jpegmafia was the lead vocalist of Death Grips, and to be honest I wish it stayed that way. MC Ride sounds like a homeless guy who walked into the studio, smoked some crack, and rapped over beats that sound like they were made with a blender, a fork, a plate and a shitty synthesiser. I genuinely dont know how people be calling this the "greatest experimental album" when it sounds like a few guys who had no idea how to make music walked ... read more
Coming from Rimera, this project honestly disappointed me. Intact, this is actually a STEP DOWN from Catch Me If You Can, which in all fairness was also a bit disappointing. With a runtime of only nine minutes, Rimera dosent give himself enough time to do what he does best. If it was 15 or 20 minutes, it could have been pushed up to an 8, maybe even a 9, but 9 minutes from Rimera just isnt enough in my opinon. Also, what's even funnier is that I bought a signed CD of this album before I ... read more
I went into this project not expecting too much, and I'm glad I'm did. The first half of this album would probably make Devon Hendryx roll over in his grave, and the second half picks up until you get to the last 2 songs, like on "The 1st Amendment" my guy Peggy really had to scream Charlie Kirk 5 times. Bipolar stuff right here
This "EP" is one of the most abstract cuts in rap. The first beat is one of the filthiest I've ever heard, and the second one is almost as good. Could honestly be a top 15 rap song of all time
I think mainstream rap has been on a rollercoaster of too many loops and turns from late 2025 to now in 2026, and Drake is just extending the length of that ride even further. Absolute sleep fest, I cant remember more than like 2 or 3 songs off the album. Now there are some diamonds in the rough, but its just 1 hour and 8 minutes of mediocre trap production that I'm disappointed I made myself suffer through
Very very good album embodying a long distance relationship and heartbreak
Denzel's second best project imo. The production on here is super bipolar at points but overall, great and mature album
This album is the most bipolar, bland, all over the place project I have heard. The agony my ears went through during certain parts of this album was insufferable. There are some saving grace tracks, but 90% of this album sounds like they took some random kid off the street, gave him a microphone and FL and said "Do what you can to make us money". I bet even a toddler on his shitty little cat piano could produce music that has more effort put into it than whatever this pile of ... read more
My #2 greatest album of all time
One of the dreamiest rock records to date. Not many albums I've heard have come close to the heavenly perfection of this one.
Armand Hammer's best project by far. Sad that Al couldn't do production on this level on Mercy
Tyler's most important project because it showed a more true version of himself
Danny Brown's Magnum opus. One of if not the best experimental rap project of all time
Kanye's best album EVER. Some of his greatest work on here
Denzel Curry's most mature and meaningful project to date.
