This is a very cohesive and well-produced album. But it lacks a lot of personality, which is one of my favorite things about Short n' Sweet. I really do love the ballads, but I think she is a lot better at the unserious, relatable, fun bops. This is a good album overall though, I really don't have any complaints. But I'm also not super blown away by much in this album.

Singular Act II is overall less fun and memorable than the first part to this project. Singular Act I felt more consistent and focused, while this feels like she's experimenting a bit too much. Sometimes it works, but a lot of times it falls flat. I also cringe at this album a little bit, some of the writing and production choices feel very Disney to me, but that might just be me.

People just hate fun, don't they? This reception that this new Dua Lipa record has really confused me. On one hand, I can see how some people may not like it as much as Future Nostalgia and maybe they were let down just by how much they liked that record.
