There's absolutely no replacing Chester but the new vocalist is pretty great despite the huge shoes. Other than that, this feels incredibly hollow. Idk what it is about the instrumentals feeling so sad and lacking any substance whatsoever to match the freak of Emily's great vocals. I feel like there's none of the punch of classic Linkin Park, this is all radio rock like maybe a tiny step above Imagine Dragons. Unfortunate.
I'm ready for jordan fish to stop producing music. Crystalized is however peak.
Each song has so much promise until the chorus, save for a few exceptions. These choruses have got the bring me the horizon effect of feeling completely out of place, come out of nowhere, and in some cases they're just downright bad (epitaph), and it's incredibly disappointing when everything else is otherwise very exciting.
