50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Tryin'
96

GRODT is a masterpiece. One of, if not the greatest gangsta hip-hop albums oat. 50 is amazing, making club bangers and street classics. His rapping is amazing, but his ability to make a catchy song that everyone will enjoy is even better. I don't understand how people think this album is boring. The most boring song is Many Men, and even that is very energetic. Overall, this is a top 3 greatest debut album oat in my opinion, and it's a 96/100.

Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism
86

Very nice. This surprise album from Dua Lipa was very consistent and very good. I was honestly surprised. It has 11 good tracks, the only problem for me is that there is no amazing songs. There wasn't the hits that we are used to from Dua Lipa. Nonetheless, she was great on this album. Overall, 86/100.

Morgan Wallen - One Thing At A Time
100

Wow, this album is just absolutely amazing. You may not want to listen to the whole album and it's 36 tracks (quit being a bitch), but they won't disappoint you. A lot of negative things said about this album is how long it is (grow up) and how it's not really country. First off, there's lots of great album that are very long, and second off, what did you expect from an artist who just worked with a rapper?! There's lots of tracks that are definitely influenced by Durk and the type of music ... read more

A$AP Rocky - TESTING
86

Rocky made a very good album with Testing. It's very consistent and is just overall a great album. There isn't very high highs, but there also isn't really any lows. I definitely enjoyed this album, but I think it could be better. Not his best, but it's definitely up there. 86/100

LUCKI - Watch My Back
41

Holy shit. Now, I came into this thinking it could be worth my time (very positive reviews and a consensus of being a good album) but holy shit was I disappointed. I could not wait for the end. I was so fucking bored of this album. The music sounded terrible and he wasn't saying anything. If it's not going to sound good at least say something. I couldn't understand what he was saying either. This type of rapping is the reason Soundcloud rap gets hated so much. So bad, 41/100.

Juice WRLD - Goodbye & Good Riddance
81

Juice was doing amazing in the first 7 songs, but after that holy fuck did it get mid. The first 7 songs carry the album, but overall it's a good album. I do wish he would rap about other things then drugs and girls that broke his heart. This is my 2nd favorite Juice album, and honestly, if he was talking about other things or the songs after the first 7 were even good, this album would be an 85+. Overall, 81/100.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
90

Kendrick made a great album. An amazing story-telling album that won't appeal to the rap fan that likes the club bangers. Is it overrated? Definitely. Is it great? Definitely. Kendrick showed off his many voices and many styles of rap that he could do. Overall, it's overrated, but great, and this coming from a guy who thinks this is Kendrick's 3rd-4th best album. Overall, 90/100.

Roddy Ricch - Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial
86

This album is better than I remember it being. Roddy's rapping in general was very good, and he was very consistent with good rapping. There weren't too many features, but the features weren't very good. I would've liked to see him collaborate with other bigger artists (DaBaby, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Kendrick Lamar, and Chief Keef would make sense), but overall, I'm not disappointed. I'm really hoping he can reach this level of rapping again, as this was his prime. Overall, 86/100.

Lil Durk - Almost Healed
80

Durk was interesting on this album. One moment he's talking about murder, drugs, and bitches, and the next moment he's talking about mental health. The features were very average on this album (outside of Juice and Morgan Wallen). Don't get me wrong, I liked some of Lil Durk's rapping on this album, but there was a lot of drill songs that weren't good at all. If he would've stayed with the slower music, this album would've been great. With that being said, there were a few good-great songs ... read more

Travis Scott - Rodeo
91

A great album, Travis has other-worldly producing, but the features weren't amazing. I also would've liked to see Travis rap more. Overall, Travis made some great songs, and there wasn't really any 'bad' songs. Has some great highs, just would like to see more consistency throughout the album (especially in-between Nightcrawler and Fly High). Overall, a great album, 91/100.

Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
100

In Bruno Mars' debut album, he showed up and showed out. He made an amazing album with 6 amazing songs and consistent music, he made his case for one of the best debut albums of all time. There's not much to say, he did amazing. Amazing producing, amazing songwriting, and an amazing album. 100/100

Future - WE DON'T TRUST YOU
91

I'm not a Future fan at all, but I got to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this album. Metro's amazing producing mixed with Future's ability to make hit songs was a match made in heaven. The hits in this album are very good, and shaking up the rap game with the J.Cole and Drake diss on 'Like That'. There are a few skips, but overall this album did not disappoint. Future and Metro did very well. 91/100

Pop Smoke - Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon
90

In his posthumous album, Pop Smoke surprised me. He went away from his typical drill style or rap and went to more of an r&b style. I definitely enjoyed this album. His first 2 albums sounded very similar and lacked originality. The features on this album certainly aren't the best, but Pop Smoke's rapping is outstanding. He shows this especially in Aim For The Moon, Creature, Got It On Me, and Dior. He made r&b type songs such as What You Know Bout Love and Something Special. He ... read more
