Keep seeing people on social media calling it too weird when it’s actually very boring, wish she was more experimental and “weird” on this song instead of it just going nowhere
It only got better as it went on. For me, it peaking with End Of The Affair and All Is Now Harmed serving as a great closer
Really wish Michael Giras vocals were stronger in the first two swans albums as I love the brutal sounds of Cop and Filth but often his vocals don’t bring anything to the music and feel drowned by it itself, he just sounds uninteresting to listen to. Still think Cop is an enjoyable album but not as strong as Filth
TIMELESS
There is no other way to put it; the songwriting and the instrumentals are all so incredible to listen to my top 3 favorites are Like a Rolling Stone, Ballad of a Thin Man and Queen Jane Approximately .
Only rating NOTOK
Favorites: I Promise, Lift, A Reminder, How I made my millions and one of my favorite Radiohead songs Man of war
Been listening to Cruel for a little while and I finally checked out the rest of the album and while I do think it has some misses, overall I think it’s pretty good.
A nice collection of early 60s pop rock music. It's repetitive but that's to be expected.
Favorites I saw her standing there, Anna ( go to him) and Twist and Shout
First time listening to Animal Collective and besides the last two songs I loved it
Mixed feelings on this one. I think it has good movements, but as a whole I think, it is fine it does nothing bad but also nothing that notable that would make me want to comeback. I am interested in what Code Orange does after this. Personally, I would like them to go back to a more heavier sound, but I also wouldn’t mind if they keep going with this.
Favorite tracks : The Game, The mask of sanity slips and Grooming my replacement
Good high energy pop punk album that sadly losses some momentum towards the end.
After not really liking Thank Your Lucky Stars and Depression Cherry being kind of a letdown for me, 7 hits me like a truck.
From start to finish, each instrumental here feels perfectly put together to design a dreamy yet very raw sound, with Victoria Legrand’s vocals soothingly flowing through it wrapping it all together to create a beautiful album.
Nice debut album with some good songs and good ideas all throughout with my favorite being pinking shears
i would like to shout out this great website for showing me yet another great uk band
Saturday night wrist has some of deftones best songs but it also has pink cellphone
