Great songs and sound. Even if you dislike country (as do I), you might like this album. Definitely worth listening to at least once.
Not necessarily his best work, but this has a multitude of great songs. Big X has a distinct and booming voice that has been gaining traction in the industry. Tony Coles' work fits really well with Big X's sound and produces a fantastic result. Worth a listen 100%, my biggest criticism is that many of the songs are just repeats from past albums.
Decent album with iconic and recognizable songs. Definitely worth one full listen, and that's about it.
This album has a distinct and continuous sound that some will like and some not so much. The songs on this album are good, though they are hard to distinguish on the first few listens. Definitely worth laying down in bed and taking a listen to tracks 1, 2 and 4 (Sunsetz is not a good song). If you like it, you'll like the rest of the album. Otherwise, don't bother.
Additional note, but I am surprised Opera House is so low, considering that it really encompasses what this album is ... read more
One of the greatest albums of all time in terms of content, but can certainly be a drag in the first disc of the album. From the lust-driven outrage to the fascist rockstar persona, this album speaks outrage and tells a powerful story of a severely troubled rockstar from the start. I just wish it wasn't so long at the beginning. Worth a listen and many revisits, absolutely recommend this work of art
Strange and diluted album, which on one hand is certainly confusing and makes the listener feel lost. Then again, that is sort of the point. Interesting album, but not one I like to listen to. I like 4:56AM (For the First Time Today, Pt. 1) the most of any of the tracks.
Fun album to drive or nod your head to. Not meant to be deep, it's about going crazy on stage and making love to women. Cool ass sound and definitely worth a listen.
One of my favorite works. Severely underrated and underappreciated album due to people not knowing who Pink Floyd's bassist is. One of Roger Waters' best works, this touches sensitive topics of war, death, false romance, and suicide. Most of the songs on this album cannot be listened to alone, hence the low ratings for some of the songs. Only criticisms are The Hero's Return being a terrible song and the occasional loud noise.
Iconic album that takes the listener on a melodic journey through significant aspects of mankind- aging, money, and war. Overplayed due to it being an introductory album to Pink Floyd as well as an overall must-listen. Definitely not their greatest work, but worth revisiting.
Starts with great songs and falls off at track 4, only to regain it back at track 10. The last good album by Pink Floyd as a farewell fuck-off and simultaneously respectful goodbye to Roger Waters. Worth a listen, do skip over the middle if needed.
A great and underappreciated album. Has its one or two corny moments. Outstanding work, and true to the modern world by sending the message of what needs to be said without necessarily saying it.
This album is a good breakdown of some great songs. Mother, Two Suns In the Sunset and The Gunner's Dream are the best tracks on the album, especially the second of the three. More emotion can be felt in these songs, but it can feel like a drag for someone who does not know them.
Guilded album that sounds great at first listen and quickly diminishes with every revisit. Surface-level work compared to Rogers' later creations. Good, but I don't understand what people see in this besides its iconic album cover and the flying pig.
A relaxing, smoothing, album that detaches you from reality and puts you in the eyes of Syd. Great experience and great sound, arguably the best album ever made by Pink Floyd.
If Dark Side Of The Moon was set on fire and left to burn, this is what it would sound like.
A complete shitpost of an album- one of the best things I have listened to. Drops off after the first song, but is still an intriguing and unique sound unheard of elsewhere.
The album is just about as good as Conan Gray is at having a successful relationship, which is poor as evidenced by his lyricism.
It's okay, not a great album. Best tracks on the album are all of me and dangerous, despite the surprisingly high ratings for née-nah and redrum, which are both largely uninteresting or unpleasant to listen to.
This album holds a few alright songs, the best of which being Still Down. Was strange at times.
A strange but hidden gem of mixed sounds- Roger Waters sings on 80s tracks under the guise of a radio station. Fun, but doesn't stand out. Best track is The Powers That Be by far.
