This is the complete version. Everything about this version solves all of the issues I had on the ONLINE! version, and it does it good. The fully extended songs that were cutoff due to copyright issues sound so much better and more thoughtful and clearer. This shows to artists that you don't need a big name label to create something grand, rather with your own artistic envision. I'm glad Peggy went with this route, and I hope we get more "OFFLINE!" versions of his projects. Overall, ... read more
This is almost complete. Even with the copyright and sample clearance issues this album is still spectacular. He’s is always reinventing himself, and this album is no exception. Having a much more accessible sound, but still keeping it Experimental, which is awesome. One of the best Rap albums of the decade so far.
Here in this album, Kendrick takes a few steps back on production, but the lyrical content lingers. Honestly I felt a bit disappointed on first listen, but eventually it grew on me. This makes me feel like Kendrick has a stronger understanding of music on the way this album is produced. Overall solid album, not his best.
Amazing follow up from his debut album. The story about his ups and downs during life in Compton is awesome. The features are also a crucial part to this album as they pay homage to West Coast Hip-Hop. Overall zero to little complaints about this one
This is where Kendrick started. Overall pretty awesome debut album. The production is still pretty good and shows that Kendrick is a star stellar west coast rapper
Each release he puts out gets better and better. Still keeping his Industrial and Experimental Roots, while approaching a more melodic-like approach, which is very welcoming.
After Being Dormant from the public eye, Legendary producer Danger Mouse teams up with legendary MC Black Thought and they create an amazing album that tests that even rappers from 30+ years ago still have amazing talent.
This album is awesome. This shows that J.I.D. can make fun tracks and also become introspective and make much more lyrically dense statements. He’s appearing to be one of the more promising acts so far
Man. This album left me speechless. Never have I ever listen to such pure bliss. One of if not the best album of this decade so far. Can’t wait for whats next for Natalia.
So much soul-crushing, suicidal thoughts, put in an a 10 minute EP. Im glad he’s doing better.
Overall pretty solid debut. This showed us that Earl is more than an Odd Future background member. This makes him stand out from the rest of the crowd
This is a darker much more angry follow up from his album and the beats sure do show that
This is his opus. The shortness of the songs makes sense to me because I always interpreted it as short poems into his thoughts in this point of his life. Really compelling
I dunno. This one just falls flat for me. It felt pretty forgettable and it wasn’t as compelling as it felt too short and the ideas weren’t fully discovered here
In all honesty this one is not doing much for me. It comes off kinda obnoxious and the rapping and beats aren’t as good. Overall he has much better music than his debut. Im glad he moved on from this
This is awesome. An amazing second album that total changed my perspective on Electronic Music as a whole. James Murphy and Company hit it out of the park with this one
LOVE It. The Electronic soundscape works so well, especially with the build up of theses songs. One of the Best albums of 2010.
Beautiful Collaboration. The Jazz influences mixed in with Freddie Gibbs’ rapping is an amazing combination. Truly outstanding
