good record. I want a little more refinement, not sonically but creatively on some tracks, if I’m being picky.

have listened to this 5/6 times this past fortnight. The ballades practically a perfect example of romantic solo piano (these are what im ranking). Pollini does a great job at catching you and holding you.

The first is nice and warm at times, building steadily towards a rewarding climax.
