Incredible beats, very catchy choruses, good rapping but writing wise very very one dimensional, there are some good verses but most of the time it’s just the normal west coast shit, which doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s bad but more so that its kinda boring,at least for me, still great album

I didn’t expect to enjoy this project as much as I did, banger after banger after banger, super consistent.Uzi’s lyrics do get a little repetitive tho

Although it’s not the most unique album of all time, their incorpation of strings and darkwawe synths into this album really does make it stand out.Especially the middle and end of the record.Also this album hits extra hard when you’re angry and god when Alexis Marshall(fuck him btw) screams “don’t tell me how to do my job” it makes me smile in satisfaction.Great album.

It’s bright eyes so it’s bound to be good but honestly this is one of their worse releases even though it’s solid.

Because most of this album is only acoustic guitar it’s very instrumentally one dimensional but the songwriting and lyricism is top tier.The melodies are also very soothing and nice.Oh, and John’s vocals kinda remind me of Les claypool and I mean that in the best way possible, they look kinda similar too.
The songs are great but I’m not huge on some of the weird hard left/right panning on some songs

This might’ve given me tinnitus, it’s sooo insane
Sometimes Conor’s voice sounds out of place on the very electronic instrumentals but it has some of bright eyes’ best songs
