some highs here, some lows there, overall an interesting listening. I miss the emotional structure in most of the songs. maybe it will click and i will have another opinion.
best song imo: Zig Zag
it’s a nice song and of course reminds me of Sundress but seems not that memorable and significant, and i waited for something more grandiose as a first single of the new album
this album is great. the beggining is a strong start and holds so much nostalgia because songs like “Porcelain” and “Natural Blues”. Moby keeps this energy until like the middle of the record but then it starts to getting weaker and boring. i think it’s too long. a few of the last tracks wasn’t necessary, at least not here. anyways, that doesn’t took away the power this album has.
this song is a classic, unbelievably good, timeless and holds so much nostalgia. they don’t make music like this anymore.
Daniel Caesar comes with a cozy and soulful record, with heavenly and undoubtedly uplifting production, leading us through a cinematic songwriting, even if in some places i had to guess the purpose of the theme. with that being said, this album is a creative idea, the obvious staying in the safe implementation and the lack of versatility ends up in a somehow okay result.
kevésnek érzem ezt a 72 scoret. kreatív, vicces, pörgős, mégis helyenként mély, érzelmekkel telerakott album Azitól. a productiont meg hagyjuk is, top tier.
whatttttt??? this is so good, the drums, the production, the creativity

I mean, i always heard a lot of songs from her, i think atleast one from each album, but i never (to being completely honest) wanted to "waste" my time on an artist i don't really interested for. I started Folklore but i got bored of it so easily, 1989 and so on. Taylor was always the type of artist for me i never got even the slightest form of excitement ... read more
i love this album with my whole heart and probably one of my favorite of all time
