Weezer (The White Album):

By: Weezer

Praises: Weezer produces some of the best songs the band’s ever made, in a slick, stylish pop-rock aesthetic. Every chorus is sharp and catchy. River’s sounds like he’s at his artistic peak on this record, even with being 46 at the time. River’s drumming sounds better than ever, the guitar work is amazing. Every song seems like it’s meant to be there without a single song of filler in sight. Overall, a really underrated and ... read more

Weezer (Teal Album) Review:

By: Weezer

Praises: Weezer produces a surprisingly enjoyable collection of covers of popular songs from the 70s’-00’. Most of the covers are faithful to its source material in one way or another. Furthermore, a hand full of covers on the record are surprisingly great, some I’d go as far as saying are better than the original. I could go far in as saying that it is one of my favorite closers to an album, of all time. The guitar ... read more

“Beatles For Sale” Review:

By: The Beatles

Praises: Paul McCartney’s vocal’s on the record are very much enjoyable. The Instrumentals on each song are okay-good. The production for the record is decent.

Critiques: Like many early Beatles records, this album suffers from “Daniel Caesar Syndrome” which is essentially making every single song you produce a love. The lyrics on these songs are cheesy to god awful, an example being “Baby’s In ... read more
