The production on this album sounds so amazing and will never get old. Lupe has an amazing voice and amazing verses all around to go with it. No weak songs whatsoever on this.

There are many things I can say about this album, and I'll start with my biggest gripe which is Drake himself. On almost every song Drake is "rapping" and I have rapping in heavy quotations because he does the same thing almost every song. One bar -> pause -> another bar -> pause, rinse repeat. It gets old quite fast. The beats are also a huge factor as I do actually thing that some of these beats are actually pretty good, but it gets heavily overshadowed by Drake's ... read more
Definetly his weakest mixtape not really adding anything new or interesting into the mix, but It does it's job and is overall pretty decent.
Fav Song(s): DARK AURA, 3 FEET AWAY
Going on a Joey streak right now LMAO
I think that this album has some high highs while also being consistent. It feels like a new step Joey has taken with great beats and flows combined with good rapping skills on almost every song. (With what the title and album cover is obviously referencing) it almost feels like 1999 but upgraded with thing's he's learned throughout his career.
Fav Song(s): Make Me Feel, Brand New 911, Zipcodes, Survivors Guilt, Written in the Stars
This is where Joey applied his mixtapes and combined them with more meaning, personality, and thoughtfulness to make an overall really solid album. While none of the songs really stood out to me, none of them were what I would consider bad. Consistency is sometimes something you need even more in an album than a few songs better than all the others sprinkled in, and I think this album achieves that quite well.
Fav Song(s): Paper Trail$, Piece Of Mind, On & On, Curry Chicken, Teach Me
An album that evolves Joey's sound to its absolute limit. It's a perfect mix between catchy verses and hooks and lyrics that talk about many topics that are relevant to this day. A very fresh switch up from his earlier mixtapes like 1999.
Fav Song(s): TEMPTATION, DEVASTATED, Y U DON'T LOVE ME (MISS AMERIKKKA), RING THE ALARM
Sadly the streaming version of this mixtape has only 7 songs on it which is very dissapointing, but it's still a very solid set of songs. It's a great continuation of 1999 with strong beats and lyricism.
Fav Song(s): 95 Till Infinity, #longlivesteelo
Fuck you guys this album changed my life
Fav Song(s): January 28th, Wet Dreamz, Apparently, A Tale of 2 Citiez, G.O.M.D, No Role Modelz,
This is what J. Cole's whole career was preparing for and it did not disappoint. It's a beautiful mix of all his albums combined. This easily has some of his best songs on here and shows Cole's longevity. What a way to end this career off.
Fav Song(s): SAFETY, Two Six, 39 Intro, Poor Thang, Legacy, The Fall-Off is Inevitable, The Let Out, I Love Her Again
The entire album has a very nice and chill vibe to it. Vince focuses a lot on emotion on this which I think he captures perfectly in basically all these songs. Really conistent with none of the songs being bad in any way.
Fav Song(s): Black&Blue, Étouffée, Justin, Little Homies
Definetly their least interesting project with absolutely none of the songs standing out to me (except maybe Demolition Lovers). The vocals definetly needed some work as most of the time Gerard's voice just becomes straight up annoying. An album that gets heavily overshadowed by Three Cheers and The Black Parade, and probably for good reason.
Fav Song(s): Demolition Lovers
While there isn't anything that I strongly disliked about this album, at the same time I can't really say anything positive. It's pretty much the most basic an album can get and while that's not a bad thing (sometimes), It also means that there is practically nothing to it.
Fav Song(s): deja vu, traitor
Less consistent than Three Cheers with more misses here and there, but doesn't make it a bad album. Felt different enough that it was a pretty unqiue experience atleast compared to their other stuff.
Fav Song(s): This Is How I Disappear, Welcome to the Black Parade, Famous Last Words
There was WAY more character to this than there was in Oracular Spectacular. Way more consistent and the songs were all interesting all the way through with a collection of very intriguing songs thrown in here. I am a SUCKER for long songs so I thought that Siberian Breaks sounded beautiful all the way through, Lady Dada's Nightmare was a fun, no lyrics song going right into the title track which was a perfect way to end it off. Overall, basically everything from their last album was ... read more
Definetly is weirder than Magic, Alive!, but that doesn't mean it's bad at all. It's got a lot of great songs on it and I think McKinley is amazing at keeping all his songs fun and interesting. A solid, nice and short album with good production that continues on with Magic, Alive!.
Fav Song(s): Run, Run, Run, The Story So Far, Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?
Feels more like an extenstion from Vs. The World than a unique mixtape with nothing really changing and making it seem kinda boring. With that being said, This carries along the fact that it doesn't get necessarily worse than Vs. The World. Overall, It's not what I would consider "bad", but it is quite boring.
Fav Song(s): Seven Million
While it does have some good songs spread out here and there, I think this album is pretty messy and sometimes just flat out boring. It gives us a variety of sounds and voices which makes it unique(?), but in a way where most of the times it's just obnoxious. I do think there's something here, it just felt like it needed much work.
Fav Song(s): Sauce It Up, The Way Life Goes, Neon Guts, XO Tour Llif3
Slow Burn: The Album
While I do respect the production on this album, I do think that most of the songs take too long to actually get interesting, and when they do, they're normally at the final minute of the song. I think the 3 singles really help this album, although I did somewhat like a couple others.
Fav Song(s): Of Moons, Birds, & Monsters, Electric Feel
This is honestly just non-stop bangers for me, some of the most lively music i've ever heard and it just doesn't stop once. The amount of instruments that are on each of these songs and how they all work so well together still baffles me. Overall an insane album that WILL never get old.
