Limp Bizkit start to develop their distinct style here. The thing is I'm not blown away by anything here. The LP is just okay and if anything just much safer than their debut.
Every track is filled with powerful guitars amazing screamy vocals and mediocre lyrics. As someone would say peak limp Bizkit. I think that this is truly an underrated album by them. Yeah this whole thing is rough around the edges and a bit repetetive but it's doesn't overstay it's welcome.
I really enjoyed it. The album is definitely worse than Mezmerize but i see the double-album vision.
I love this record. Dawid is both a great vocalist and writer. There aren't really any skips. I can't say that this is a masterstroke, but does it matter? This is the pop music I'm willing to listen to.
This is a masterclass in story driven concept record. No track truly drags on or is uninteresting. Sure Manson and his crew aren't geniuses but if you're looking for some wild, dark, twisted and fun album this is perfect.
This album is so amazing... The raw intensity, mechanical prowess and fun guitar tones all craft an otherworldly experience. The vocals are also great with Cedric finally starting to sing melodically like he would later do in The Mars Volta. There are truly no skips. The only little thing I dislike is how similar the songs are. The whole album blends together. Is it for the worse? Normally I would say yes but in this setting it works. Great great record.
Trent manages to achieve ton of stripped down emotional depth while still reminding the listener of heavy industrial moments from TDS. It drags on for a bit too long for me to rate it higher. Despite having skips it's a great Lp
Amazing soundtrack all across the board. It's insane how they managed to put so many industrial greats on one disc
Production is miles better than on their first record. Hoverer this LP doesn't contain bangers of such scale. Most of the songs are just fine and that's okay if you're looking for a 7/10 rock record
One of my favorites songs of all time. If not for the bridge part it would've been perfect
The album begins with two amazing songs but then it just kinda slumps... Nothing here is straight up terrible, but man Manson is not good at singing cleanly and it unfortunately shows
I love this. I love love love how multi layered it is. I can't overstate how we'll though out this record is. From the story through the production ending on the music itself. The two halfs really sound different and equally outstanding. Don't get me wrong this LP is not perfect by any means, but it is probably the best album Manson ever created and will create.
Nothing to write home about. The lyricism exists I guess??? This whole LP is quite fun, but there are a lot of mediocre tunes
I think that such short albums are always risky. This one for example has two songs that are very clearly skips for me and normally that wouldn't be a huge deal, however here they take almost 1/4 of the album:(
The rest is fine or really good.
Long gone are the days of Pixies making each song feel unique, but that doesnt mean there aint any bangers. I have no idea why St. Nazaire is rated so low (i love crakity jones and this is similar in the best possible way). The writing is also okay and sometimes even really good.
Really fun. The lyrics are well... Interesting. A ton of memorable tracks.
The most indie rock of indie rock in the history of indie rock Indie rock and it's a pleasure to listen to
This was my introduction to rock so I might be a little biased. I loveee the mood of this LP. It's so cohesive too. The lyrics are, as always with Turner, amazing. This is just so awesome on so many levels for me
