A shit on such an amazing album. The replaced lyrics to avoid profanity just straight up suck, and the switch to go to a more fantasy storytelling element turns me off from the album so much. The Ravenous House was the worst for this, straight up sounds likes I'm reading a fantasy audiobook. Will's songwriting is something I admire so much and this album leaves me disappointed with how overly artsy the lyrics are. For as long as I can remember, I have been depressed
It's influenced what I listen to dramatically, I search for music that fits my mood and that I can find relatable in any level. I look for music to comfort me but also make me feel emotional. Car Seat Headrest is just that. Especially with Twin Fantasy.

Beautifully vulnerable songwriting. A voice the invokes tears and incredible guitar playing and chord progressions make for such an incredible album. Truly an artist of his time and was taken way too soon.
