If Joe Biden made a rap album.
It's disconnected from culture. Lyrics sound to me like YouTube video essay.
No risks taken, nothing pushing the boundaries lyrically or musically.
With that being said, there is nothing really bad about this album either.
I like that the album is really long too.
I think this is the best J. Cole album is capable of – not in a diss way – so it feels
like a lot of effort went into it.
Although less bangers than in rtj 3, the message and cohesiveness is much stronger. Definitely recommend this one.
How is this so good. Really recommend everyone to listen. Such a unique album and also super catchy and it makes you feel like a westerner for some reason. Can't really explain why
