Long overdue review considering I listened to this around when it came out, I kind of forgot about this site.
Dream's first (and hopefully only) EP consists of boring, uninspired songs, three of which came out as singles before it dropped. I wouldn't have added part in if it wasn't for the fact that those singles make up half the EP, like he could've dropped the other 4 songs as singles and nobody would've cared.
While I think the musical side is alright, the lyrics are just run-of-the-mill, ... read more

I'm not much of an Uzi-head, I only know a handful of his songs, so I wasn't as excited for this project as some people seemed to be for this project. Nevertheless, I listened to it and was hoping for the best.
The album has this atmosphere around it that I can't quite determine. The tracklist, despite being long, has a lot of really good songs. It's not exactly bop after bop (some songs don't hit as hard as others), but it's enjoyable from start to finish. I feel like a few of these could end ... read more
I can't believe it took me two days to listen to this, as I was sort of looking forward to the song since it was obviously going to be a Techno tribute (going off the trailer). There was a lot of build-up to it, albeit a bit weird like the Instagram post he made where people thought he was gonna kill himself or something.
The song itself is just okay-ish, it's nothing special and the vocals are... less than okay-ish. The production is much better than in some of the previous songs at least. ... read more
After CLB, there wasn't a high likelihood of him making a worse album. Thankfully I enjoyed this project a bit more, though it was boring at times. I have no idea what's up with the album art, though, strikes me as some forgotten metal band's cover. Overall, it's an improvement compared to CLB.
The Intro was pretty nice to listen to, however, it doesn't transition well (or at all) into the following track, I don't know if this was a stylistic choice or not.
The beats are a bit unorthodox in ... read more
I got recommended this album by a friend, as almost a year ago I started "reviewing" music as a hobby. As a result, I've been recommended a wide variety of music and different genres (as you could see by going on my profile). Going into the record, I had no idea what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised, seeing as I liked the opening track on a first listen.
The album as a whole gives me nostalgic vibes because some songs remind me of early 10s or late 00s hits, despite it ... read more
I was looking forward to this dropping, I enjoyed Lovejoy's other EP a lot and has high hopes for this when it was announced.
"Oh Yeah, You Gonna Cry?" has a relatively upbeat tone, it gives me some cartoon intro song vibes (or it would if it wasn't explicit).
"Model Buses" is an alright song. Nothing more, nothing less.
"Concrete" is probably my least favorite song. There's not a lot of interesting stuff instrumentally or vocally, the last 30 or so seconds ... read more
I haven't ever listened to a Drake album until now, the only music of his I've listened to were some popular songs he has (such as One Dance) or a decent feature (like on SICKO MODE and Mr. Right Now).
I thought the people saying they almost fell asleep on this album were exaggerating, but I was so bored through most of the album. The first few tracks all blended for me and I didn't even realize I was on another song until I checked Spotify.
Drake sounds fairly monotone, uninterested in most ... read more
My first experience of listening to Tally Hall was when I listened to Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, which I thought was decent. This LP has 14 songs, let's go through them.
"Never Meant to Know" is a pretty nice song but it has this weird noise in the beginning that throws me off a little every time I hear it, other than that I have no complaints.
"&" has a catchy beat, the vocals are solid. Unsurprisingly, the singer says the word "and" more times ... read more
Holy SHIT, loooong overdue edit on this one. My previous review of this was mostly positive (I gave it an 80) and after re-listening to the album I feel like I definitely rated it too high. The old review was full of yapping, so I felt like I had to shorten it significantly.
Obviously, the highs are still high (Come to Life, Moon and Jail are still hits), but I never realized how forgettable most of the tracklist is. While not inherently HORRIBLE, many of the songs feel same-y and kind of ... read more
This EP was sent to me by a friend, it sent me this because it reminded it of me. I was looking forward to listening to it since indie albums usually don't disappoint.
The opening track, "Home", has a pretty chill beat and the instrumental is really well done. I think it dictates the overall vibes of the album. (no pun intended)
"Away" has a funky beat and it's very enjoyable. It also gives me Spongebob music vibes, which isn't really a bad thing.

I had low expectations going into the album and I expected it to be a bit of a shitshow, safe to say I was ever so slightly impressed.
The first track, named after the album, starts off interesting but then transitions into a Megalovania-sounding beat. The instrumental by itself isn't that bad but gets annoying to listen to in the last minute of the song. The vocals don't add anything to the track and are overpowered by the drum and bass.
Lost Umbrella, which is the album's most popular ... read more
Okay, we're getting somewhere.
Even without listening to this, you could probably guess Alec carried the track, which he did considerably. This song is miles ahead of Dream's earlier works.
The verses are meh, the chorus is pretty good. Overall, this is definitely a song.
This is my first experience with Tyler's music. I heard good things about the album and thought I'd give it a listen, turns out this guy is pretty fucking good at what he does.
All the songs have great melodies / beats, Tyler's flows are on point throughout the album. The beats remind me of some old-school rap beats and I enjoy them a lot.
WUSYANAME and HOT WIND BLOWS have really relaxing jazz-esque beats, the features sound really good as well. They're my favorite tracks.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the song. CG5 produced a pretty nice beat and the keyboard chords are also enjoyable. My favorite bit is the saxophone solo after the second chorus. (correct me if it's not a saxophone)
He's got a nice voice as well, gotta give him props for that.
That being said, there have been hundreds of similar-sounding songs over the years. It's not exactly special, but it's a nice song.
When I first heard Faith was dropping, I was very excited since Pop is one of my favorite artists right now. Calling this a disappointment would be an understatement.
There are good songs on the record don't get me wrong, such as Demeanor, Manslaughter, and Brush Em. I still think the album could've been left unreleased, mostly because Shoot For the Stars, Aim For the Moon was a solid album on its own.
Way too many features for my liking, a lot of them don't carry their weight. I ... read more
