I was in pain upon hearing the news of Heike Langhans leaving the band - her vocals on Under A Godless Veil made the album the masterpiece that it was, I don't count myself eloquent enough to explain the depth of emotion she inspired on a number of tracks, both Anders and her were in perfect harmony. So much of Madison for me is 'almost'. Almost great, almost innovative, almost an identity. I enjoyed the record enough to keep it in rotation but not in a way that cements her status as one of THE pop girlies
My favorite pop albums coming from Tate Mcrae and Addison Rae over Taylor/Lorde is making my head spin.
