M.I.A. - ΛΛ Λ Y Λ

Incredible album with so many great ideas and instrumentals, as well as being very unpredictable

Lil Dicky - Earth

Not 0 because there are lines which are kinda so bad they are funny

clipping. - Shooter

Really cool, unique track

Never gets old

Little Simz - Lotus
90

Such a beautiful album from Simz that shows her blooming after the conflict and breakaway from her previous producer and proving that she is still able to make something this good. Young is a bit of a jarring and pretty humorous track that probably would have been more suited as just a single, but otherwise no complaints. Lotus and Free are definitely some of the best songs to come out this year.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
80

Great new album with many wonderful highs but unfortunately a little inconsistent

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
85

Lush beats with some very good rapping from Gibbs. Some songs do sound maybe a bit too similar in production but still very enjoyable nevertheless.

FKA twigs - EUSEXUA
85

Another fantastic album from FKA Twigs featuring an especially incredible run of songs from the start to about the midpoint. Not super keen on childlike things even though it is a pretty fun song, since it doesn't feel that fitting on an album like this.

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
90

Amazing return from Clipse, not always the best choruses in some songs but otherwise near perfect.

Gorillaz - DoYaThing
95

Absolutely unhinged and awesome

FKA twigs - EUSEXUA Afterglow
80

Nice sort of "sequel" to Eusexua which is a very enjoyable time. Cheap hotel being one of the singles leading up to the album kinda made me worried but it turned out to be the only one I didn't vibe with too much, as highlights like sushi make it a must-listen.

Rich Brian - WHERE IS MY HEAD?
85

Really good first impression of this guy, not always the most daring music, but still full of bangers with the amazing high of Timezones that tells his own story of how he came to meet people across the world online and the highs and lows he experienced from his teenage years onwards that tended to involve people he never truly met until much later on.

Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass
100

As good as hip hop gets lyrically and instrumentally

Aesop Rock - Daylight

Strangely beautiful

Danny Brown - Stardust
75

Lots of fun songs alongside some more introspective ones that is usually pretty great. Love to see Danny Brown surprising us again and again with everything he does :D

Pusha T - Numbers on the Boards
100

Unbelievably sick beat that manages to never grow old and absolutely amazing bars from Pusha T throughout. Quite easily my favourite song of his, even above nosetalgia.

FKA twigs - EP1
75

Ache is pretty great but others don't stand out too much, still a quite nice moody ep.

MGMT - Congratulations
90

Super good psych pop rock that offers both slower, chiller tracks like Congratulations (song) and the masterpiece Siberian Breaks, to more energetic and fun songs like Brian Eno and Flash Delirium. Such a great ride from start to finish.

Lily Allen - The Fear

Loved this song when I was younger and still do
