When she goes into her falsetto on the second verse, I'm bawling.
This is the first time I've heard an FKA Twigs song, and I know this is different from her previous songs but I'm really intrigued. The music video is fantastic too oml
Yeah this doesn't really hit me in the way that I think it has for other people. And I can;t figure out why?? The concept of the song is fantastic, her vocals and delivery is emotional and the string arrangement is impeccable too...
So why don't I like this more??????????
Severely underrated album from Kieran, easily one of his most interesting sonically for me. He expands on some of the groovier tracks on Rounds like As Serious As Your Life, resulting in a free jazz album.
favorites: a joy, smile around the face, sun drums and soil, high fives, turtle turtle up, you were there with me
I've never heard a Flume project before this mixtape, but man alive I love this. There's so many thought provoking sounds on this album, and it's such an adventurous and exciting listen. I LOVE how the album opens, slowthai goes apeshit on High Beams, and JPEGMAFIA cracking jokes on the second half of How to Build a Relationship will go down as one of my favorite moments of 2019. Bravo Flume!
edit: growing growing growing growing growing
I thought a majority of this was in bland taste based on the first listen, but imma give it more listens to see if something clicks
This looks intriguing, putting this on the list of shit to get around to eventually lol
Nah fam this get too much hate. I can't deny a lot of the songs here like Coporation??? Ice Station Zebra???? What's Done is Done?????

This is a new direction for James and it suits him really well. It has more of a spring feel than his previous output, his warmest and most comforting project yet.
