Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

When I listened to The Dark Side of the Moon, I got really curious about Pink Floyd, and what better album to listen to next then Wish You Were Here. And this is definitely another banger album from them. It's hard to explain, but it just pulls you in so well, and it's beautiful. I'd call Dark Side of the Moon impressive, and I'd call this one beautiful. Especially with Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Wish You Were Here. I'm not as much of a fan of Have a Cigar and ... read more

Van Halen - 1984

I had actually never really listened to a Van Halen album, of course I know songs like Jump and Panama but idk, the band never really interested me. Until I created an account on AOTY and liked some albums I enjoy and looked at what the site was recommending to me, and this was one of them. Of course I know who Eddie van Halen is, and I know it should fit my taste, so why not try something new and give this album a listen.

And yeah it was good, but still wasn't really my thing, but I ... read more

Richie Sambora - Stranger in This Town

Richie Sambora is the guitarist and back vocalist of Bon Jovi, and I absolutely love him in that band and I'm so sad that he's not anymore, this man is really really underrated. I already knew 5 songs on this album and some of his other solo songs, but never listened to it front to back. And it did not disappoint, this man can absolutely carry an entire album on his own. His vocals are great in the spotlight and not just in the back anymore, his guitarplay is as good as ever, even ... read more

I already knew 8/12 songs on this album but never really listened to it front to back, and because I'm seeing this band live in a few months, I thought it might be fun to give this one a review front to back.

And it's good, but it doesn't come near the peaks of Slippery When Wet and New Jersey for me. It's good, but not as impressive anymore, it doesn't have the insane vocals anymore, it doesn't have those iconic anthems anymore. It's just missing something, ... read more

twenty one pilots - Scaled and Icy

It's this albums 5th anniversary today, so why not review this one today?

I'm always very conflicted on this album, because I do enjoy listening to it and I really like most of the songs on it, but on the other hand it's just not a very good Twenty One Pilots album. And I understand, it's a concept album, and in the lore it's propaganda because they weren't allowed to create their own music (which isn't an excuse they came up with later on btw), and as a fan ... read more
