Matt Bellamy since when are your lyrics good. This album has blown me away so far sonically and I love Be With You's lyrics even if they're slightly corny but this is like Black Holes and Revelations lyrics again. They've truly outdone themselves this time: those guitar layerings are divine.

Not going to lie Relief is the weakest one on here 💀. But it's an incredible album either way
The instrumentation is beautiful, the lower score comes more with unfamiliarity with the genre which meant it didn't connect as well (especially the vocals).

Honestly one of my favourite album covers and just an amazing album overall. Although I do hate the gimmick of every album being American Football as it just feels lazy

Never been able to see the appeal of Foo Fighters ... I feel like they're only famous because of Dave Grohl

As an intro it's amazing ... as a single it's a weird choice and dramatically brings the score down. On the album it'll be much higher
Cryogen is a great song even if the lyrics aren't great (but that's 90% of muse). The production is great even if the riff at the end doesn't feel heavy enough and the drums sound too dry at points, although it is much better than will of the people's production. Compositionally it is definitely one of Muse's best and the studio version is definitely better than the live version. I have a feeling this score may go up on the lead up to the album (the bridge is peak)

Saw this live in Manchester and it is the worst concert I ever went to. I love King Gizzard but should have paid attention to the rave part as it is not the sort of music I like from them
Music that is released about 60 years too late and if it was released 60 years ago it'd be long forgotten
This is massively inconsistent but it does have some of the best live performances and versions of these songs (Let Down, Rabbit, Bloom, Hearing Damage, dawn chorus, cymbal rush etc.) although it also has some of the worst and poor vocal performances (Jigsaw had a massive downgrade, not the news, default, everything in it's right place). Overall more good than bad
