The first 2 have promise but the synths make it feel a bit empty, the last one is the same but I like it a bit more. Reverie and After All were my favourites (still not on the level of Lovegod which is the only song I had heard before listening to this)
Just had to go back to his earlier albums cause Scott 3 was just another experience. A bit more inconsistent but the grandiose emotion is still there and there's still incredible tracks on here
Absolutely beautiful and engaging throughout. The string writing was ahead of its time although I've said most of the albums in 69 so far were ahead of their time so maybe it was just an innovative year
1969 has been such a good year so far (only 4 albums in though). This is the start to heavier rock 'n' roll and I for one am looking forward to moving away from the psychedelic stuff
Unironically really good, it is just complete ramblings of nonsense and weird noises yet it's so entertaining to listen to and really proves you can probably do anything with music and it'll sound good if you do it right
I enjoyed this very much with some beautiful lyrics. I need to listen more carefully next time as when Jesus is placed within the context of the album I don't think it's a very Christian song and has a lot of deeper significance about desperation and whether it's human nature to turn to an inprovable force at rock bottom to help cope with harsh realities especially since the lyrics are so far removed from the first half on an initial listen that it would feel like a weird choice ... read more
Apart from All Yours (which is excellent), there's promise but nothing quite hits the nail on the head
Not only does it have ai in it, it's made by a nazi (obviously the significant worse of the 2). I wouldn't usually rate something I haven't listened to but when the music is made by someone who has supported hitler and made with something that is doing large amounts of harm to all artforms, i think it deserves it.
I mean it's a fairly good dance album but I didn't enjoy it and wouldn't listen to anything again
Incredible film and perfect fit for it but as a soundtrack on it's own it doesn't stand out as much and there's nothing that could be labelled iconic or oscar worthy here just an incredibly well-made soundtrack for the film.
Metal has just been hitting really hard this year ngl
Their best one yet with an actually good song but it's still mostly skips and almost unbearable at times
