It’s heavily front-loaded and loses steam on its second half (I don’t like the Pharrell track, and didn’t really care for “Don’t Judge Me”), but it’s a very good and fun political pop-R&B album. “Make Me Feel”, “Crazy, Classic Life” and “Screwed” are my favorites.
Nowhere near perfect, but god damn HOW FUN IT IS. “Nasty” is actually one of my favorite hip-hop releases of the year. Dope production, dope features, dope songs. She has charisma, bite, trash talk, and lots of energy that made fall in love with the tape since the first listen. If she makes a more polished, varied, but just as raw and catchy album, she’ll be huge.
Easily Drake’s worst album. The hip-hop half feels pointless and bland at extreme levels. I’d only come back to “Nonstop”, and it’s not even that good.
