Solange's opus.
I've only listened to Solange's two most recent albums, and for a while, I found 'A Seat at the Table' to be her best release. I loved the flow from start to finish, and each song was enjoyable--I even appreciated the numerous interludes. In my head, Simz is up there in the "big three" rap pantheon. After over ten years since her last album, I was filled with anticipation upon the announcement of 'To Whom This May Concern' [TWTMC]; of course, I was so anxious to hear this album that it took me a whole two months to get to listening to it. Anticipation turned to fear for me when I first put this on, with the first track being my least favorite. But boy, I am glad I stuck with it.

Hmm. Earl and MIKE releasing a trap(ish) double LP is a big surprise, but a welcome one.
I personally enjoyed 'POMPEII' more than 'UTILITY,' but I think that's partly because I tend to like MIKES releases more to begin with. I was less enamored with Earl's contribution, especially considering he just recently release 'Live Laugh Love,' probably my favorite of his albums to date.
