This album at least has the benefit of being short but incredibly bitter with its delivery. The first track has the dissatisfaction of blasting you with a 911 call that’s supposed to set the tone of the album but does it tastelessly, especially since the rest of the album is effectively just samples from other songs but with the addition of trap beats and deep bass. The details, atmosphere, and overall vibe of this entire album is incredible and unmatched. The masterclass of production that’s at play here is absolutely incredible. This is some of the best sounding electronic music of the 2000s; so much life breathes through each and every instrument, sample, effect, and sound.
