It feels like he made this music specifically for me.
I've never played the game myself but this soundtrack is so good I might really give it a shot.
I feel like this album is so strangely sequenced. Like we go from 4 bangers basically all in quick succession to 1 low-key song to 2 more bangers to 4 more low-key songs to 1 mega banger to 1 sort of just OK finisher.
Cross handled the mid point slowdown much better than this album. It felt earned after the absolute odyssey that was phantom 1 and 2, whereas hyperdrama really didn't need a slowdown IMO.
If the tracklist was better paced I think I would enjoy the album much more than I ... read more
This album fucks, don't get me wrong, but there is a point where the tracklist starts to become a little too ambient and songs feel like they lack any clear direction or melody. It's by no means bad, but after 30 minutes of this ambience, it's a bit difficult for me to discern or pick a highlight.
The strongest points on this album are when a song has a perfect blend of being entertaining both as a background listen while also actively engaging when listened to on its own. ... read more
This song as well as all of the Ai generated images of Charlie Kirk face swaps are genuinely a fate worse than death. He has become not just a meme or a laughing stock, but brain rot, genuine mold on the prefrontal cortex, coated in so many layers of irony that eventually no one will even remember who he was or what he did, just that he was killed and everyone turned him into an Instagram filter. Any memory of him that his family might have will be completely and forever tarnished by stupid ... read more
Edit: This song has grown tremendously on me, it's definitely become one of my favorites of his.
Feels like a more refined version of the new style he adopted on Leather Terror.
I'm super hyped for the full album.
Most underrated MF DOOM album. Seriously, I don't see anyone talking about this one ever.
My favorite album of his is still "Lustful Sacraments" but "The Uncanny Valley"'s quality is undeniable, especially songs like Disco Inferno and Death Squad.
The only blemishes on this otherwise decent album are the 2 songs right after The Cult of 2112, they really don't add anything to the tracklist and are generally skippable. Not awful songs but simply unnecessary.
The production on this album is insane and the rapping is pretty good.
All in all, a great album
This album has started to grow on me considerably, especially songs like Obsolete and Afterthought.
This still isn't necessarily spectacular especially considering Kevin's track record (Currents, Lonerism, The Slow Rush)
I choose to believe this is simply an evolutionary period that will lead to an even greater album utilizing the best ideas of this one.
Hajnal is one of the best breakcore songs I've ever heard.
Other than that there are a bunch of great songs weighed down by some unnecessary interludes.
This is the only album I've heard where the skits are actually funny
The joy in Kanye's voice throughout this album hurts knowing what he's devolved into.
These singles so far just feel like "lustful sacraments" but blue instead of yellow.
There is some offensively bad stuff in here counter balanced by a couple of great songs.
"Make Love" is one of the laziest songs I've ever heard and "The Prime Time of Your Life" unironically creates pain in my ears. On the other hand, the title track, "Robot Rock" and "Television Rules the Nation" are up there among my favorite Daft Punk songs.
I don't know why Daft Punk would brag about making this in 6 weeks. Imagine how much better it ... read more

I've come to really enjoy this album. Even though there is a bit of slump after "Canon", I think that "New lands" instantly picks the momentum back up.
If you go into this album expecting a Cross Pt. 2 you will be disappointed.
