The girls dipe their toes into some electronic themes to their sonic repertoire and it honestly makes their aesthetic even richer here imo. I'm excited to see if they take this concept even further. But don't worry, these girls are still pop rocking! And are very good at it.

A decent full length debut from NEGOTO the talent is readily apparent but I can see room for growth.

I thought this was an honest diagnosis of a strained relationship with a guy trying his best but the girls despite the efforts doubts that it's going to be enough. The question is then is what is the girl really looking for in this relationship then? What is her cure? Hopefully they figure this out before the relationship itself begins to unravel from her emotional instability.
While it is indeed a foundational root to basically all metal to come after it, looking at this classic on its own merits while a fun listen is a touch overrated in my personal view.

Back in 2023 I was very fresh to the greater world of music past the mainstream slop and my little rabbit hole that I dug into that developed my "alternative" taste. Well when 2023 me first encountered this album, let's just say that to say the least I DID NOT get it or the appeal. It just sounded like nonsense and noise to me. This album has a legendary status because it goes deep into this surreal experimental soundscape unapologetically and not everyone is going to get it, but those who do are immensely rewarded. "@Jakeisthedoctor Man I really should delete and reevaluate these albums I reviewed in my early days when my taste wasn't nearly as refined yet expansive as it is now. Back in 2023 I was throwing my inexperienced taste into classics head first with no idea what I was talking about. It's part of the reason why I am exploring the 60s and 70s again along with bolstering my limited playlists. To great success too with my 60s playlist going from 90 tracks to over 750 and growing as I am now appreciative of the greatness that I am consuming. I promise when I get to these albums again down the road, I will likely have a more reasonable take. For now, just enjoy how unhinged I was in 2023."
