Nearly perfect Post-Metal/Atmospheric Sludge album. Into the Beyond is such a huge track.

An exquisite cacophonic experience.
"The Spiritual Sound" delivers with such an amazing diversity of sounds that go from Black Metal screeches to Thrash Metal riffs, noisy guitars, melodic and evocative vocals while maintining a whole lot of atmospheric passages. Very complete work and cohesive in the way that the different sounds excepcionally blend together.
The highlights of this album are the absolutely haunting howls of the singer and the creativity in those guitar riffs.
Not really into Grindcore but this sounds extraordinary, 13 minutes of the most intense and absolute aggression you could listen to. From start to finish not a single second to rest (except for Celestial Bleeding). The variety of vocal techniques gives this a very dynamic feel too.
My journey with Chelsea's discography started with the release of "Abyss", I was instantly hooked by her angelic voice in opposition to the ominous atmosphere of her songs. The connection has since that moment always been there but somehow I only really listened to the albums after "Abyss".
