Nearly perfect Post-Metal/Atmospheric Sludge album. Into the Beyond is such a huge track.

An exquisite cacophonic experience.

"The Spiritual Sound" delivers with such an amazing diversity of sounds that go from Black Metal screeches to Thrash Metal riffs, noisy guitars, melodic and evocative vocals while maintining a whole lot of atmospheric passages. Very complete work and cohesive in the way that the different sounds excepcionally blend together.

The highlights of this album are the absolutely haunting howls of the singer and the creativity in those guitar riffs.

Can only say that I am so glad of my decision to go back into her discography. “Pain is Beauty” ticks all the boxes that I need from her music. Absolutely phenomenal ... read more
