Electronics are awesome and sometimes the atmosphere is wonderfully immersive but lyrics and vocal production are occasionally just... off

Man this shit cuts like a dull knife - with it's E.Smith-esque vocals and some delicate broken guitar work. God, I love this.

Everything sounds polished but the transitions into movements are jagged and messy - best songs are Drunk Walk Home and Last Words because they actually finish an idea and there's thought out lyricism
come on lads - even the worst songs here aren't anything lower than a 75. its consistent vibes - put some respect on the album's name
It was pretty good and the lyrics were solid but the instrumentals and musical direction seemed pretty uninspired compared to the competition for singer-songwriters in 1999 (notably "When The Pawn...")
The lyricism is amazing and the simplicity of the instrumentals highlight that... but they also get a bit boring
Its cool but its so unpolished it kinda scuffs its chance at perfection
its pretty heckin good but i do think it does the old 70s prog trick where it makes the song so long that you think it MUST be amazing when its actually not
