Iron Maiden - Powerslave

I really enjoy how iron maiden really throws the base into the mix. It adds just such another layer to a lot of these songs. The chemistry is amazing as well. A guitar lick will end and then a base lick will start and it's just great.

Metallica - Kill 'Em All

Sick debut honestly. I like how bad the production is ironically. It just sounds epic and in a garage.

Metallica - ...And Justice for All

lack of bass really hurts this, but the songwriting is comparable to master of puppets.

Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill

A step up from the previous album and actually heavier. I think floods makes up a lot of ground on this album as it's arguably (not my favorite) but the bands best song and I get why it's definitely up there for me. I have the same gripes as the last album with the "whispering" or whatever. I'm also not too into how "southern" this sounds. But this is a personal preference as I can see why it'd make the album for some people.

Pantera - Far Beyond Driven

I really like the singles and a lot of the songs here. Phil's "whispering" or whatever you want to call it irks me idk why. I also prefer pantera when they are more groovy, this just feels heavy which is still good but I prefer the more groovy sound of VDOP. There is also some songs that are just bad.
