If Volume Alpha is about nostalgia for childhood, Volume Beta is about growing up. This album shows the beauty of the present time without hiding its disadvantages. There are some dark and ugly tracks in the album that can make you feel uncomfortable. The album itself is not perfect, but it's the unperfectness of the album that makes it perfect. «Disintegration» is undoubtedly one of the top 10 best and most influential albums of the 1980s
idk half of the album is just a collection of hits. The other half is a collection of good songs, but they slip right out of my head, and I wouldn't exactly say I'd listen to them on a regular basis. It's a strange album.
