My only issue is that the pacing could be a bit better, but that doesn’t stop Pinterest’s VA from carrying it so fucking hard.
It might just me being an asexual but it’s literally just sex: the album (again).

Never heard of Lil Darkie before this. Initially I was a bit worried because of the controversies (and reputation for having bad music), but the maturity of this record surprised me. The only thing that brought it down a bit was the vocal performance, but otherwise I agree that this is a great album.
I too would shit myself if a creeper with a British accent started spitting absolute peak.
Even though I hate country, I can appreciate her beginnings. (I don’t have anything worthwhile to say about this)
For some reason I remember watching a specific animation that had my little pony characters in it and now I can’t find it anywhere. You don’t find good parodies like this anymore smh.

With subtle references to previous albums all over, Tyler continues to reinvent himself yet still has fun with it.
Idk what to say but I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It’s purely just vibes made by a duo who truly understand the soul genre.
Of course experimental stuff is either going to be a hit, a mid, or a failure. ‘reputation’ is a bundle of all of those.
