I fully believe this album saved lives. Seriously, you wouldn’t expect an album with as insane of a rollout —pay what you want— as this to accomplish such a feat.
Hold up, this is actually good?
Everything has improved! Just like with season one, I’d listen to some of these on my own, but others are brought down by the context and show writing.
Happy 25!!
Going in blind (aka only looking at the album art), I was expecting it to be folk or something like that. Hearing an all instrumental hip hop and disco with sampled vocals was nothing short of beautiful.
Is anyone taking the Grammys seriously anymore?? They snubbed a lyrical musical mastermind of ANOTHER album of the year nomination/award.
As of today, he:
~ (by popular belief) created a new genre of music by combining R&B and synth in a way the world has never heard before
~ has FIVE BILLION Spotify streams on one song alone
~ the same song stayed in the Billboard Hot 10 spots for 88 weeks (a full year)
~ has the most streamed interlude of all time (Stargirl Interlude)
~ has the most ... read more
99 tracks with cryptic lyrics that still make sense that adds up to only one hour AND it’s good* all the way? Only Stauber can do it.

Literally the greatest halloween movie of all time.
Reminds me of that one kid at my school who would often go on his school computer to look up weird shit on Amazon. Wouldn’t be surprised if he had an extension that played Bezos I every time he purchased something.
Fuck you Cody for not singing you sack of shit.
Happy 10 years of Creek, guys. (haha south park reference :cringe:)
If there’s one thing i hate, it’s that the mass majority of love songs (ESPECIALLY IN POP). They fail to acknowledge that love is a spectrum, not cookie cutter sex and factory made products.
69 Love Songs shows pretty much all of the possible ways love can be experienced. There might be a song about the situation you’re in right now- long distance, heartbreak, manipulation, queer, first love, toxic, love at ... read more
I liked the part where they said “it’s weezering time” and then weezered all over the place.
The Holy Trinity of Neurodivergence Part 2 / 3
Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this review has in no way endorses a belief in the occult.
Everything about it is phenomenal- the geeky references to pop culture combined with the 8bit-esque and violins makes it sound like a grand spectacle. ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ is probably one of the best album openers I’ve ever heard; reviving a dead musician for profit is a perfect metaphor for Neil ... read more
Listening to anything other than The Life of a Capitalist is a blessing to the ear. Yes, even The Tortured Listener’s Department is better than that two pack of ass.
Anyways, happy 13th birthday, Red!!
This was my first exposure to Taylor- my elementary school teacher used the title track to teach us about similes and metaphors. Unfortunately that was during the period in my life when I only listened to fnaf and bendy fan songs and shit on everything else that “isn’t art ... read more
Everything is almost as great as Somebody That I Used To Know, having a unique sound that makes it pop.
I never heard of acid jazz and new jack swing before but it’s beautiful mess.
C418 gives more recognition to the highly underrated steel pan, which is always a win.

I often find myself return to some of these tracks. Sometimes I forget that some of these exceed five minutes; a feat only talent can achieve.
Released fifteen days after Kid A btw.
There’s something about this album that puts me in the middle. On one hand it’s a relic of the early 2000s that somewhat aged in some aspects. Yet on the other hand, there are great instrumentals (albeit tainted by the childish lyrics, but I guess that’s part of the charm).
