The simplistic color gradient on the cover conveys what the album is like: dreamy and vibrant. But the vocal performances emphasize the gloomy lyricism that black metal is known for.
Pretty thoughtful and intriguing throughout! Especially some of the ‘darker’ elements sprinkled in here and there.
I’m not the biggest fan of reggae, but.. to be honest, I don’t know how to feel about it. Yes, I do appreciate the culture that directly influenced his work, don’t get me wrong. It never really clicked with me like it did to so many others (all power to you), but it ended up being not for me personally.
