It starts to get really good when the beat transforms into something out of a heroic medieval movie. Then it gets boring.
This song never really did much for me. It's so boring all around and they all rap like they don't wanna be there
Lyrics are crazy but this is better than Bastard, and that's saying something. What really elevates this tape are those old tyler piano beats that just hit.
Really thought I wasn't going to like this because of how boring I thought the first one was. I heard Taj Mahal as a single and knew this was gonna be a classic. Havoc and The Alchemist both kill the producing and the prodigy verses still sound so fluid and fresh. Tracks like Down for You and Pour the Henny are straight up beautiful.
FAVORITE TRACKS: Against The World, Gunfire, Easy Bruh, Look at Me, Down For You, Taj Mahal. Mr. Magik, Score Points, My Era, Pour The Henny, Clear Black Nights, Love The Way (Down For You PT2), We The Real Thing
Took me a couple listens, but this is easily one of the best rap songs I've ever heard. Just Blaze is Just on a whole different level
Easily the worst track on the album
EDIT 20 -> 70: ok maybe it's not that bad
The Some Rap Songs gimmick is getting old.
FAVORITE TRACKS: FORGE, Static, TOURMALINE, Heavy Metal aka ejecto seato!, exhaust.
