gotta get a grip.
hotline miami aside really calming and chill album, definitely agree with it being sleep music.
really good. a lot of rappers, but Uzi especially, have a weird trend of not releasing some of their best tracks and it's really starting to bother me.
paradise alone makes this an 80 for me. I don't listen to Uzi that much but they cooked so hard on paradise. rest of this is heat too.
song released in 2023, officially released in 2025, about the album released in 2024. peak cinema.
jokes aside super happy to have these on streaming, FOMDJ is also great. rating is just for the new tracks.
production good. lyrics are eh, nothing too special but above-Vultures quality thankfully. the AI vocals on practically every track suck, but it's slightly reassuring to hear Ye plans to record over them. my hopes aren't necessarily high for the final version due to his Tiwtter antics, but there's still a chance Ye can pull off a decent album this year.
lowkey dont understand why so many of these are like 65-70 theres only like 5 misses. not even a huge carti fan but i really enjoyed this.
edit: score changed to 75. still enjoyed it, but the deluxe made me realize it would be better with those on the main tracklist exchanged for some of the misses.
teen x alone is enough to make me give WLR a 50 but the rest of the album is good too. only about 2 misses for me (Control and if I'm not in the right mood, JumpOutTheHouse) which is crazy for a 24 track album. don't know if it's a hot take but this is his best album.
came into this sort of just expecting a lot of that one part of fsmh pt. 3 with all the distortion, but this was surprisingly beautiful. super weird and interesting to hear an album I love as much as TLOP turned into this experimental, weird, nightmarish, and sometimes beautiful album.
artists who can sing vs artists who can't sing. lowkey only listened to this for out my mind but it was actually pretty fun.
please listen to this bro it's so good. genuinely hard to believe this is a fan comp cause everything here sounds so finished. this is a staple in yedit's history.
absolute peak. a truly timeless comp, it's genuinely insane it still holds up so well 3 years after it was released.
why is this rated so low lol. easily the best yedit's presents, and still holds up well. makes JIK an extremely listenable and fun album.
I use a different tracklist than the one here but either way, this is great. don't know if I'd call it better than released Donda since they got entirely different vibes, but every track here slaps.
highlights are: og tell the vision, alien, god's country, og 24.
