feels a little incomplete in some parts but overall this is a great posthumous release. the tracks featuring Mac, Jay and Nas go crazy.
this gets bashed a lot more than it deserves. really nothing special, but also not bad.
superrr underrated release from Domo Genesis and probably one of my favorite projects to come out of the Odd Future era. zero misses here and the features are insane.
King Mathers was a retirement mixtape / album Eminem was working on in-between 2007-2008. After a ton of it's leaked I'm a bit mixed on my feelings.
The good:
Lyrics are kind of depressing and it helps add to that "retirement" album feel. The album doesn't feel too disjointed either thanks to the (for an Eminem album at least) short runtime of less than an hour.

the ringer, lucky you, not alike, stepping stone and fall are cool. wish he just released those as an EP cause the rest of this is middling at best and downright unlistenable at worst.
the idea behind Kamikaze being a complete contradiction of Revival's (barely present) theme of moving on from the Shady persona and having him "Kamikaze" his career is great. but then Marshall jammed in 3 love songs that are the exact thing people were even complaining about.

it's a Ty$ album. some great songs and some stuff you'll hear once and never come back to. could of been worse ig.
it's like slightly better than normal revival. there's only so much you can do to try and save this album though.
2 decent tracks that i would've preferred over some of the lesser-songs on recovery.
should've just replaced 3 of the bad tracks on the album. it still wouldnt "save" encore from being mid but it would help it's case.

2 horribly mixed AI songs (ye recorded 2 new lines on preacher man) and 1 song that is maybe-not-AI and is "okay" but needs a ton of work to make it good.
feel like this track proves kanye has been attention-baiting pretty much this entire time. doesnt make any of what he's said this year better though. sad that this genuinely pretty good beat was wasted on what is essentially a dogwshitle.
kanye sort-of locks in after making the worst album of all time. yb goes crazy here.
joey cooking them. great track but I'm a bit worried what the outcome of this "beef" will be. if Joey don't get that Kendrick response than what was the point of this lol.
