kinda lacking release from Bruiser Brigade, which sucks cause with how things are looking this could very well be their first and only LP. unsurprisingly, Danny has the best songs here and generally performs the best on each track. Zeeloperz and Bruiser Wolf also do great, just not a big fan of most of the JUS or Fat Ray tracks sadly. i do wish there were more collabs on here, posse cut would've been crazy good as an intro track.
I thank this album a lot more starting my musical journey. I was incredibly sheltered growing up to the point that I only listened to the radio till I was 13, so when a friend recommended IGOR to me I was so enamoured with it that I made listening to and exploring music a big hobby to me. also this album really helped me explore my sexuality so even bigger thanks to IGOR for that lmfao.
highlights: literally everything. go listen to Boyfriend too that tracks beautiful.
actual insanity. accomplishes it's goal of transforming Yeezus into a highly experimental horrorcore album extremely, EXTREMELY well. if you can, definitely watch the visualizer posted on the official Yedits yt channel, enhances that horrorcore experience so much.
probably the worst yedit's presents but i'm pretty sure that's because it's not fully finished lol. there's some great ideas sprinkled in here though, and some of these edits definitely inspired future edits that took an idea from this comp and made it better. still not an awful listen but there's a lot of missed potential.
decent attempt at a TGFD comp from the yedit's presents collective. this one is a lot less poorly-aged than their SHMG comp, but still not too much a point in listening to it past a few edits due to just how much more content we've had leaked since that people have worked in to their own comps.
really poorly aged but it was a good attempt at the time. handful of edits hold up to this, and not really worth a listen, but far from straight up bad. just not a lot of point listening to it with how many better comps we've gotten since.
it's more yesuke. it's good, these edits are less badly-aged than some of the songs on the main comp, mostly due to the better feature verse choices and lack of being outdated, as we haven't gotten much new info for the 4 tracks remixed here.
originator of the jpeg x ye yedit's. honestly hasn't aged the best but that's mostly due to the new material we've gotten and not on TMNG's part. it's pretty good, some questionable feature verse picks here and there, but overall still a fun listen.
highlights: Make It Feel Right, Beg Forgiveness and we recovered from this.
dont listen to raditude in one sitting, it will break you with how boring and repetitive each song is when played one after another.
that being said i actually dont mind like half the song on here. as bad as a 17 score is i really dont mind Love Is The Answer by itself, but placed where it is on the tracklist i hate it during a full album listen. truly the weezer album ever made.
Ye returns with his long-teased BULLY. after 2 years it was (sorta?) worth the wait.
the biggest positive here are the instrumentals and Ye's return to actually recording verses (I know, bare minimum but still a great improvement from the Vultures 2 and onward era). the biggest issue with BULLY is how short each track is. sometimes it works, for instance KING and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST work as short Interlude/intro-type songs, while other songs like THIS A MUST and especially CIRCLES sound ... read more
Grand Finale -> Yeah is honestly such a fitting closer to this project that I thought it was in the original sequencing.
"unsalvageable" and it's genuinely peak. just search through leaked forums for a remaster ad you're good to go, great project and it's insane they scrapped this.
would've been so much better if Em took off that awful ass AI filter bro. this isn't TDoSS anymore you got nor reason to be using the filter.
mf ain't even put the deluxe songs on this i'm crying. Paul when I catch you bro..
the NFT-phase was the most cringe-inducing thing Em has done since the Revival / Kamikaze era but at least the song is decent.
kinda overhated??? maybe i'm desensitized but it's just Tyler's edgy-horrorcore sound taken to an extreme, and a good execution of the shock-factor he clearly wanted this song to have. I'm not going to rate Sarah because if anything it's more of a short-horror story told through audio, but: I like the instrumental and Tyler's performance fits very well over it. also crazy single art.
this is pretty outdated after sftl3 but it's still a great effort and was, for a time, the best Relapse 2 comp. good song choice given what was available at the time, and the custom skits definitely add a lot to the legitimacy of the comp.
since there's not a more updated comp on here yet, here's my personal Relapse 2 (which I've renamed to Rehab). not the best but it works for me and has a small story where Em is sober at the start, Relapses again near the middle of the ... read more
DOOM's appearances are the highlights, obviously. otherwise kinda just average. definitely one of the more forgettable albums in his discog. at only 31 minutes and 9 tracks though it's still worth a listen if you fw DOOM.
sequencing could've been a bit better but that's really it. there's some eh tracks here and there but nothing that stops this from being a fun listen. superrrr uderrated on here.
