a little over hyped but still a great effort by the Pastelle Collective. being there for the LP definitely elevated my score though.
essentially a b-side to my favorite Eminem album. good mix of horrorcore and party songs here, and Em's wordplay is consistent with how it was on the main album. i'd hate to glaze this album more than I already do but there's not really any "bad" tracks here, just eh ones. kinda makes me wish he did go through with Relapse 2 but this is a good compromise.
Forever: classic. not my favorite song ever and very overplayed, but it's for a reason. Drake has the best ... read more
Paul try to drop a good deluxe challenge. we could've (if they cleared the sample) had Ritz.
wicked ways would be soooo hard if stupid x ambassadors weren't on there they sound like imagine dragons lmfao.
rest of this is chill though. desperation and right for me are a little ehhh but the rest is good. can see why they're only deluxe tracks though.
why is there so much hate lmfao it's just a nice little pleasant song. nothing too special but 30's and 40's is crazy.
brought down heavily by awful beats, somehow cornier than usual lyrics, and insane bloat. I'd hate to recite what everyone else has already said about it, but Revival really is that bad.
there are some highlights however in: Walk On Water, Framed, In Your Head, Castle, and Arose.
also might be a hot take but Remind Me and Heat really aren't the worst thing ever. wish he would rap about like, anything else on them but they're tolerable.
really fun album that is single-handedly brought down by one person. I don't really hate any songs here, and I don't even hate Bizarre despite him being my main complaint, but every verse he has is the same and he's on basically every song. there's only so many times I can hear the exact same, 40-second long dragged out Bizarre verse before the album starts to get boring. still a 60 because Bizarre does work on some tracks, just would've been a lot better if they used ... read more
the clashing songs from Unchained Melody and post-depressive Rivers do not vibe well with each other. Beverly Hills and Haunt You Everyday on the same album is still insane to me.
some okay songs here but nothing I'd really come back to. idk it isn't "bad" just dreadfully boring at times.
obviously haven't listened to every demo, but from the maybe 30-ish unique tracks I've heard I can conclude this era probably had Weezer's best unreleased material.
not quite unchained melody but not quite make believe either. cool fan comp though. decent track selection.
beyond raditude levels of insufferable sometimes. cant knock the hustle and high as a kite are trying their best to carry but it isn't enough. listen to those and maybe california snow and stay away from the rest. I really want to like this but I just can't get behind it.
incredibly bold choice from Em to come back from his hiatus with an accent-filled horrorcore album but the concept of Slim Shady being a metaphor for his overdose really ties it all together. only real issue I have with Relapse is that this concept is only somewhat-supported by the messied tracklist. there is no reason for Crack a Bottle to be the penultimate track and it will forever bug me that it's placed where it is.
wish he dropped this, Not Alike and Fall as an EP rather than giving an entire response album. would've blessed us with a reality where Nice Guy never saw a release.
classic. wish we got this in higher quality but having it at all is good enough.
demos and scraps for results may vary that are actually so much better than the original album that it isn't even funny. wtf.
