This album hella overhated.
Disc 1 is great. There's a couple skips, but most of the songs are bangers. The highs are very high, and the lows aren't OFFENSIVELY low. Overall it's really solid, and if it was released by itself, it'd prolly be one of my favorite Drake albums.
Disc 2 is... alright. There's definitely more skips, but there's still highlights, and the bulk of it is pretty okay.
Overall, while inconsistent, the banger to skip ratio is pretty decent.

very underrated mixtape.
conway successfully dips his toes into the trap sound, which is impressive. the boom bap cuts on here are dope too and the drumwork features are all dope.
Fantastic production and rapping, but couldve been better with a more concise tracklist
REALLY UN1QUE AL13UM FROM DENZEL. HE EXPER1MENTZ A LOT ON TH1Z PROJECT, AND 1 WOULD ZAY 1T PAYZ OF FOR THE MOZT PART. THERE ARE ZOME TRACKZ ON HERE WHERE 1 DONT REALLY AGREE W1TH THE CREAT1VE DEC1Z1ONZ, 13UT THEREZ ALZO TRACKZ WHERE THE EXPER1MENTAT1ON PAYZ OFF. THEREZ A FEW M1ZZEZ ON THE PROJECT, 13UT THEREZ EVEN MORE H1TZ, REALLY FUN L1ZTEN.
13EZT TRACKZ: BLACK BALLOONS, SUMO, SWITCH IT UP, PERCS, VENGEANCE
WORZT TRACKZ: TABOO, CASH MANIAC, SUPER SAIYAN SUPERMAN
Disc 1 starts off well, but most of it is sleepy; disc 2 is pretty good tho.
I appreciate the creativity, but I prefer Ritchie's older style. Its good regardless.
"I'ma write a whole album 'bout the plugs I met"
Releasing a few months after Benny's modern classic album, Tana Talk 3, The Plugs I Met is a concise, no-nonsense continuation of the Griselda formula. The EP is raw and unapologetically authentic. Benny raps about his past life as a drug dealer, his current life as a rapper, and everything in between. The project lacks the grand feeling of a Tana Talk 3, or the polished production of a Burden of Proof, which, in a way, is part of the ... read more
I'm gonna start my review by saying this: I hate Mach Hommy.
He has a serious case of main character syndrome. He uses some awful naming conventions of some of his albums, including this one. The whole track number roman numeral thing is really stupid. He also takes down his lyrics off lyric sites like genius, which is just annoying.
All that aside... this album is fantastic.
The production is seriously amazing. Might be the best produced new school boom bap album. Every beat is extremely ... read more
Girl stop playing and release the deluxe already 🙄 getting my hands on these tracks was way too hard...
All the songs are good, but obsessed would be top 5 on GUTS.
edit: she announced the deluxe the day after i posted this :D
Complete brainrot
These ones are aight: For Da Flex, Trenches, Kills, Pop, Talkin 2 A Ghost
Dope tape. Straight vibes, no skips. Not many highlights, but not many low points either. Check is the best song.
Bank account is the clear standout, and the rest of the track is pretty mediocre, mostly due to mid production.
