A Theatrical Cornerstone
When I first heard this album, I admittedly was utterly disappointed. I thought I was out of my Tyler phase completely for the final time, everything from the major single to the album promo, none of it was doing much for me. I gave it a listen while in this negative headspace and unsurprisingly I absolutely hated it, thought Tyler had fallen off and questioning if he was really ever that good with the projects he made after IGOR. For months I held this perspective, ... read more
An Important Piece Of My Adolescence
4 (almost 5) years ago I played Omori and obsessed over it for a good while before eventually moving on. Over those years I began to lose respect for this game after the online zeitgeist seemed to drift towards a more negative reception, it made me question the passion I once had for these characters, the story, and the art style. After a friend of mine finally beat it for the first time and I was there to watch along, I remembered why I held Omori so close ... read more
B side is much better than the A, but even then I don’t think there’s a track better than Every Breath You Take off here.

man, that opening track was absolutely amazing. it’s a shame that the album never reaches that same level again. speaking of, the slower/softer sounding parts on here make me really lose interest. i wish it maintained the same energy throughout since that’s where this album really shines in my eyes. the vocals on here are absolutely killer when they’re rough, i would’ve loved for just an album of that. tracks 4-6 all drag down the score a considerable amount for me even ... read more
Forever Changed My Life
I didn’t know what I was signing myself up for with this one..
The brutal honesty is on a whole other level than I have really heard before in music. Lex Walton lets their unfiltered thoughts and emotions run free throughout the 70 minutes of raw brilliance. It’s a powerful listening experience that kept my attention the entire time. I knew when I heard ”My Favorite Song” that this album was going to be something special. The lo-fi vocals and ... read more
