I went in to this album knowing completely nothing about this band, and I came out with a potential AOTY contender.

This was one of the most beautiful listening experiences I've had in a long while. The song writing is damn near perfect, the instrumentation is lush and colorful, and the vocalist delivers such a powerful performance throughout the entire runtime of the album. Even with such a drastic change in the bands lineup, The Ocean haven't lost their core sound and identity. The two new vocalists are both fantastic, the guitars are chunky as fuck, the synths sound perfect, it's just great. I was very sad when a majority of the band left as the lineup they had between Phanerozoic I and Holocene is my favorite in the band's discography, but this new single quells all my doubts about the band's future.
