What could go wrong with your typical duo Larry June + a great producer teaming up with 2 Chainz ? Well nothing, and nothing went good neither. It's boring, the problem with Al's production is that have to match the level of energy/quality and Larry never does that. 2 Chainz doesn't bring his usual energy, he tries to match Larry's. So it's not horrible because The Alchemist produces like the GOAT he is but there's nothing special about this, I don't recall ... read more
I can't explain why but I enjoyed this one more than Night Shift by the same duo released last year. I feel Cardo shows some of his best work here.
A very fitted follow-up to the now classic The Forever Story. Of course it's not as good but it's a great album still. There are 2 or 3 tracks in the middle of the project a little bit weaker, that maybe makes the album a little bit weird because you feel a shift of energy. Overall JID does a lot of things on this LP, so it can be confusing but at the same time you have tracks like Of Blue, K-Word, VCRs or YouUgly that are just straight up masterpieces, the very fun track Sk8, the ... read more
Upgrading their game once again, if they keep doing that next album will be a classic. Everything is so well produced and they're more and more convincing voice wise.
It's not bad to hear but I don't really remind everything after one listen. The Hics do all the work, barely feels like a Bas album (so maybe don't judge it like one).
Good collective project, it lacks a really clear direction but the productions are really fire.
Nothing special to say, it's 7 tracks including an talking intro of 30 seconds. Didn't like the last track. Sign Language and the track with Boldy are the highlights.
Enjoyable even if the gun sounds can tiring at some point, I had the impression he really put some of these too much. Sounds really West coast though.
Not the usual genre I listen to but her nickname intrigued me so I gave it a shot and it's one of the best thing I did in 2025.
I love her music but this release is my least favorite between To Hell With It, Heaven Knows and this. Great tracks but not the same addiction I find in the other two projects I mentionned. Stateside is one of her best tracks ever though, and it's even better with Zara Larsson on it on the project reedition.
I had high expectations on this and she topped this expectations by a mile.
Really really solid project. Didn't expect that from him but I should never doubt an artist from TDE.
... read more
Je sais pas trop quoi en penser, je trouve les prods à la fois cools et étranges. Et même constat du côté du flow. Il ramène un truc nouveau c'est vrai mais ça demande clairement plus de peaufinage.
I really enjoy this. It's obviously not a masterpiece but it's fun. At least half of the tracks are on repeat when I put them on, like I can't get enough of it. But it can also feel a bit repetitive, and a part of me misses the Aminé who was becoming a bit more introspective on Limbo. I feel like it's slightly better than Kaytraminé.
