Jpegmafia has never really been known for being easy listening, but this album is probably most abrasive yet.
The rollout for this album was, and still is, insane. Jpegmafia, Devon Hendryx, Buttermilk Jesus, the left-wing Hades himself, is a real asshole online when he’s about to drop a new album. Slayyyter has been one of my favourite artists of all time for a few years now. There’s 6 songs here and 5 of them are some of Lean’s best songs. And it’s pretty rare that a deluxe is better than the original, so goddamn let’s talk about this masterpiece.

I think the best music out there is the sort of music that is its own unique experience to listen to. It’s something that I strive for in my own music too. And this little EP here absolutely ticks that box. This year I have been absolutely addicted to the 7 minute lightshow that is Baroque by Yabujin.
