Back to this finally. I was listening to this while I was working on some job hunting stuff and the main thing I'm getting from this era in Vylet Pony's discography is that she's really starting to experiment with different sounds. **7. Love Letters (2016)**
Been in a funk the last few days, but here's some more Vylet Pony!
I've heard a decent amount of fans refer to this as Vylet Pony's first album of any real quality. So, this is without really any contest the first good Vylet Pony album. It's also the first Vylet Pony album proper - while she as an artist considers the first four releases official Vylet Pony projects, they were also released under different monikers, with *Winter's End* being released as Musicians of Ponyville and the other three being released as Pony! **4. Control Freaks Pt. 1 (2015)**
Running out of things to say about these earlier projects because my feelings on them are all basically the same at the end of the day. Each of them showcase Vylet's improvement at her craft, but it's yet to actually congeal into something truly memorable and interesting as its own experience. This one is a shorter 6 track EP that returns to the dubstep sound of the first two albums, and I'll just list out the pros and cons:
