A lot more experimental than i was expecting, but a really good third step for Billie. I really enjoyed songs like CHIHIRO and THE GREATEST, also L'AMOUR DE MA VIE was exceptional too, and the ending BLUE was a superb sendoff. A great insight into an extremely turbulent relationship, described beautifully through good lyricism
The Telegraph said it's good enough to stand alongside 'Blue' by Joni Mitchell, and I disagree, but like c'mon that's no knock on this album it's still super good and ... read more
Wow. Such creative ways to describe emotions through music, excellent lyricism too. I just listened to this and I'm lost for words
Perfect. Jonny Greenwood is a genius. THE BEST LEFT-TURN EVER DONE. The start of 'Everything in it's right place' gets me so hyped its unbelievable, it tips you into the world of Kid A perfectly. 'How to disappear completely' may be the best song ever made i'm getting convinced. High art.
YES. WHAT A LEFT-TURN. Emotional but still banging in moments, the way it meanders is excellent. Definitive and influential, and also hella good i mean damn
Aged like milk but is such a great snapshot in time. This is what they'll play in 2100 to show the kids in school what music was like in 2007
Not quite what the debut was but an excellent album with a lot of emotional depth on songs like 'Roses' for example. Surprising and a good follow-up
Not in love with the vocals but the ideas are excellent and some songs just feel so RIGHT DAMN
Doesn't come across as whiney despite the subject matter, which surprised me most I think
Famous is so good, the breakdown at the end of that song is unbelievable
When I grow up I'll appreciate this more, scared me off and I ain't a hoe
It feels meh... maybe I'll relisten and change my mind, because there are moments I like like 'My Eyes' for example, but if everything is loud nothing is
Despite being aggressive, it didn't wear on me. Creatively abundant but also like, a fucking BANGER I swear RIP got me head-banging and I have neck problems now thanks Carti
The definitive Radiohead project, if you can even say that. I'm just disappointed I listened to Coldplay then Radiohead instead of Radiohead then one Coldplay song and never touching their discography again
Definitively absurd, yet mesmerisingly interesting, this is an album that never gets old. It feels like a 45 minute school talent show gone wild I love it. Every song is interesting, and it's exactly what I want in an album. I find it a really comfortable listen with several highs and lows, and just the rawness of it all makes it so REAL. I understand that there might be objectively better albums (even if I disagree with such a sentiment) but for me this album is flawless, and gets better every ... read more
Hit after hit, banger after banger, maximalisation perfected
Grief personified, with so much space to breathe on this record not a moment was wasted, SO GOOD
