It's one of the more unique albums I've listened to, I'll give it that
Listening to this album, I fail to see how this is in the top 50 user rated AOTY. For a decent amount of the tracks on the album, the songs hardly progress so you’re sitting with overly long songs with the same (albeit good) beats and autotuned one liners repeating over and over again which for a 1 hour album is a bit too much
The production on this album was genuinely amazing; I loved the combination of synthpop with heavier, more industrial sounds. However, the vocal performances and songwriting were a bit lackluster. Thus, despite the amazing instrumentations, I still find the album kind of forgettable at times. I might revisit this album though as it had potential.
Holy shit this was bad. Outside of "Crank That" all the vocals and adlibs on this project were annoying and borderline unlistenable at times, which sucks because the beats were actually interesting.
