If 2020’s Toner EP was a post-punk/techno fusion, Blush’s bed of acid and industrial-sized beats pushes PVA further towards the intersection of a traditional band set-up and the speaker-stacked dancefloor.
Brief Review: Good dance punk album. Not really much else to say about it apart from that tbh, it's just a fun time. Production for the most part is really creative and vibrant, the vocals are nice, albeit kinda monotonous throughout the whole thing, but eh, that's just kinda a dance punk thing anyway, so I'm not too mad about it. Overall, it's just a fun time, nothing really groundbreaking or anything, but still, fun time here :).
Aggressive is an understatement. PVA are a band I’ve known of for a bit now. I saw them open for Squid back in 2021 and really enjoyed their performance. I didn’t keep up to date much with the band after this but I did notice that they released a debut album last year and I listened to it when it released. This album is abrasive as all hell; if this is what futuristic pop sounds like then I’m all for it but I don’t think people with weaker hearts will be.

'Soap' is a highlight probably gonna go all the way to my top 15 best tracks of 2022.
Blush is a really fun project, everything about it works well. Have no real complaints about it.
This isn't bad music at all I just feel like this reminds me of other artists and not in a great way. The production is great, drums sound great, but all together this is a bit boring to me.
