Honestly it doesn't seem terrible when compared to the car crash that was “Maid of Honour”, but it’s still a snoozefest.
Easily a top 3 rock record of the 2020s for me. I love the concept, wacky lyrics, high energy, and overall funky instrumentation, it’s a super unique experience. “Ain’t No Thief” and “Troglodyte” might be some of the best punk songs I’ve ever heard too. Honestly would be a 95 if “Big Boy” didn’t bog down the tracklist.
This has been climbing the ranks of the top 100 pretty swiftly, and I can say it’s warranted. The atmosphere of this album is unlike any other.

Vince’s first miss for me. Unlike Dark Times, which had potent, realistic, and dark depictions of street life, the commentary on “Cry Baby” is unfortunately predictable and boring. The lyrics are also very on-the nose and corny at times, with deliveries that hinge on bored despite the subject matter. The bland commercial punk production doesn’t help either, making the experience even more ... read more
This album would be 10x better if JPEG wasn’t the one rapping, I never want to hear a triplet flow ever again.
Production had me creaming the whole time, idk who Eric Dingus is but he's the goat
I don’t really listen to music like this too often anymore, but this is a really solid project. Absolutely beautiful compositions throughout, the last song genuinely had my mouth agape the entire time. Still not a huge fan of black metal vocals and I doubt I’ll return to this project especially since it isn’t on spotify, but I can’t deny how amazingly this album is put together. Definitely deserves the #1 spot rn even if it isn’t going to last long.
Pleeeease make more music like “Three worlds apart”, legit my favorite song this year
The definition of a perfect dream/indie pop record. Everything is so airy and chill, it’s a joy to listen all the way through. It creates this warm and homely feeling that no other record I’ve listened to has replicated quite the same. Although not as ambitious and experimental as their previous record, the pure, consistent quality of the music throughout makes it slightly better imo, every single song is a banger with the highs being some of the best music I’ve ever heard ... read more
I’m torn on this. On one hand this is the best we’ve gotten from Drake in the 2020s in terms of sound and cohesion, on the other hand there’s so many corny bars and the album as a whole feels like a desperate attempt to show everyone that he’s unbothered or “still up” after the beef. This whole stunt with dropping three albums on one night is clearly supposed to be a big grand moment for Drake, but it doesn’t do anything other than prove that he’s ... read more
How did he make a Walmart version of his own album that’s already a Walmart version of other house music?
